In Today’s world of Internet, job seeker always spends hours to find useful job. To reduce this laborious work, we design and implement recommendation system for online job hunting. The main aim of this portal is to connect to the industries and acts as an online recruitment, to support the students, to find a right job after graduation. We proposed in this paper the user model (Content Based Filtering) and social interaction (Collaborative Filtering) which improve the quality of job recommendation. The questions or fields of the web based recruitment portal were programmed and visually displayed on the systems screen in an interactive form. Where the employee fills the field on the computer system while online. The design system was implemented and tested and was found successful.

information from, diverse sources in a unified way. Apart from the standard
search engine feature, online portals offer other services such as e-mail,
news, stock prices, information, databases and entertainment. Portals provide a
way for enterprises to provide a consistent look and feel with access control
and procedures for multiple applications and databases, which otherwise would
have been different entities altogether (Nandan 2015).
