For research, it has shown that those children who are influenced positively are those whose parents are well educated and are from high socio-economics status, which have all it takes to care for their children, while these who are influenced negatively are those from a broken home or poor background. It is based on these regard that attempts are made to find out the environmental influence of the home in the academic performance of the primary school pupils.
